Pick-up & Travel Time
Your friendly guide and driver will warmly welcome you at your hotel in Hue. Begin the journey north toward Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, approximately 210 km from Hue and around 4–4.5 hours by road. Along the way, enjoy a short refreshment and restroom break combined with a visit to the historic DMZ area.
Highlights & Activities
Stop at the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, important landmarks of the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that once divided North and South Viet Nam following the 1954 Geneva Accords. Learn about this significant chapter of modern Vietnamese history before continuing north toward Phong Nha.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your exploration of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, renowned for its extraordinary limestone landscapes and extensive cave systems.
Board a traditional boat for a scenic journey along the Son River, surrounded by limestone mountains and peaceful riverside villages. Continue directly into Phong Nha Cave, where the boat takes you through an impressive underground river surrounded by spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and vast limestone chambers.
Disembark inside the cave to explore part of the dry cave on foot, taking time to admire the fascinating formations and extraordinary natural environment before returning by boat along the Son River.
Return & Drop-off
After your Phong Nha experience, meet your driver for the journey back to Hue, approximately 210 km and around 4–4.5 hours by road. Enjoy a short refreshment and restroom break along the way before arriving in Hue in the evening, with drop-off at your hotel or any convenient central location of your choice.
