Your friendly guide and driver will warmly welcome you at your hotel in Hue. Travel south of the city toward the royal tombs of the Nguyen emperors, located approximately 8–12 km from central Hue and around 20–30 minutes by road, depending on the site and traffic conditions.
Highlights & Activities
Begin at the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, one of Hue’s most graceful royal complexes. Designed during the emperor’s lifetime as both a retreat and a place for the afterlife, the complex features traditional pavilions, temples, courtyards, and a peaceful lotus-filled lake surrounded by greenery.
Continue to the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, dramatically built into the hillside and strikingly different in style. Discover its fascinating blend of Vietnamese and European architectural influences, elaborate mosaics, richly decorated interiors, and impressive craftsmanship.
Along the way, your guide will share stories about the two emperors, their lives and reigns, and the different architectural styles and personalities reflected in their royal mausoleums.

After exploring the royal tombs, enjoy a comfortable drive back to central Hue. We will drop you off at your hotel or any convenient central location of your choice.

● Food Special Request: For day tours that include lunch, a Vietnamese set menu will be prepared for all guests. Please inform us in advance if you have any food allergies, are vegetarian, observe Halal, or require a diet menu. Some special requests may incur an additional charge.
