Overview

This itinerary is a magical way to discover the essence of Cambodia and Vietnam by taking visitors to all major destinations in South Vietnam and Cambodia.


  • Take a flight to Sai Gon. Welcome at the airport and check-in at the hotel. Free at your leisure. Overnight in Sai Gon.


  • Leaving Sai Gon, we drive through pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi. Before entering the tunnels we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 1pm. After having lunch, we continue our day by walking through the busy city to visit Unification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Post Office, War Remnant Museum and Ben Thanh market Overnight in Sai Gon.


  • 08:30 Pick up by our chef, than visit Ben Thanh market from 8:45 am to 9:40 am. Our Chef will guide you through the colorful and vibrant Ben Thanh market to purchase necessary ingredients for your cooking lesson. Feel free to ask any questions you want!

    At 09:40 our Chef will bring you back by Taxi to our cooking class. Hands-on cooking class from 10:00 to 13:00 for a warm and fun ambiance, participants cook all together with our Chef but everyone has their own material and ingredients for a better understanding of cooking techniques. You will use Vietnamese kitchenware to realize and enjoy a tasty 3 courses meal. To end on a sweet touch, we will take care to complete this meal with a delicious seasonal dessert. During the class you just concentrate on the pleasure of discovering and cooking, we’ll give you all the detailed recipes at the end. Overnight in Sai Gon.


  • Pick up and drive 02 hours to Ben Tre province. On arrival, take a boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong River, sightseeing lively activities along river. Stop at local brick kilns to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style. Continue going through palm tree- lined canals and visit one of coconut-processing workshops located along canal. It is a chance to interact with local people to know more about rural life and enjoy some candies, coconut juice. Take a short walk to family workshop where they make traditional mats and enjoy some fruits and tea.

    Take a motor cart or cycle riding on shady road, pass by green fields and vegetable plantation and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Lunch at “Coconut riverside “Restaurant with specialties such as: Elephant- ear Fish, spring rolls… After lunch, take rowing boats along water palm creek back to pier and driving to Can Tho City. Overnight in Can Tho.


  • We leave the hotel, board a motor boat along the Mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang floating market, the largest of its kind, where a colorful display of boats carrying juicy fruits and vegetables gather for daily exchanging. Then we continue the cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Phu Quoc. On arrival, pick up and drive to the downtown. Check in hotel and take a rest. Overnight in Phu Quoc.


  • Free at your leisure to discover the island or relax on the beach. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

  • Transfer to the pier for the hydrofoil from Phu Quoc to Ha Tien. On arrival, pick up by our driver and cross the border to Kep. Overnight in Kep.


  • Breakfast at hotel, then we will having an excursion to the Rabbit Island where we will enjoy by a nice and unwind beach. Afternoon will return to Kep and trekking to the hilltop for catching up sunset over the sea view. Overnight in Kep.


  • After the breakfast we continue our trip to Shihanoukville. Overnight in Shihanoukville.


  • Free at your leisure. Overnight in Shihanoukville.


  • Transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, meet our driver and drive to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.


  • 05.00 In the early morning, enjoy our time with sunrise at Angkor Wat, then start our tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom (the temple) which was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now, then go to Baphoun which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor’s temples in its heyday; Terrace of the Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King is another of Angkor’s mysteries. Lunch will serve at local restaurant.

    In the afternoon, take a visit to the fabulous Ta Prohm visit the World Seventh Wonder which is well known as Angkor Wat, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. Dinner with Khmer Traditional Dance Show. Overnight in Siem Reap.


  • In the morning we visit Banteay Srei (Citadel of the women) where is the finest stone carving seen anywhere on the planet and then lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei; the Roluos group will bring you back to among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of the age of Khmer classical art. Overnight in Siem Reap.


  • Enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the “village” move from place to place following water levels and currant. Overnight in Siem Reap.


  • In the morning, take a flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel. Free until getting picked up for lunch and city tour. Begin your tour of this charming capital with a visit to the city’s namesake, Wat Phnom. Founded in 1373, the pagoda was built to house Buddhist relics washed ashore by the river. Visit the Royal Palace built in 1866 by King Norodom. See the different structures of this pagoda-style compound and stroll in its beautiful garden. Visit the Silver Pagoda so named because of its floor that is comprised of 5,000 silver tiles. A gold Buddha encrusted with 9,584 diamonds and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha are also housed here.

    Continue to the nearby National Museum. Built in 1917 it is an exceptional example of traditional architecture and is exclusively devoted to preserving and displaying Khmer art and sculptures. Hundreds of pieces are housed here including both pre-and post-Angkorian pieces. Overnight in Phnom Penh.


  • Transfer to the airport for the flight home. Tour ends.

Children Policy

  • From 12 years old up: pay as an adult.
  • From 5 – 11 years old: Pay 75%

What to expect at your homestay:

During the tour, you might see some things that you don’t like, such as animals in cages (python, crocodile, frog…). Most of them are managed by local villagers for economic reasons. We don’t promote these activities and we don’t promise those activities in our tours. However, sometimes you will see them by accident on the way without our control. We hope to receive your understanding and sympathy. If you really don’t want this to happen during your tour, please contact us in advance so we can suggest you other suitable programs.
What to bring:

  • We suggest a small suitcase or backpack with comfortable clothes and shoes (sport shoes or flip-flops are fine), sunscreen, and mosquito repellent. Larger luggage can be left at your hotel or with us!
  • Last but not least, bring yourself for a great experience!
