Overview

Cambodia has more to offer than just Angkor Wat for great holidays. Many find the rapidly developing and bustling capital of Phnom Penh a fascinating experience and there are a lot more of Cambodia’s important historical sites and its idyllic, tropical jungle and its mysteries to explore.


  • Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, transfer to your hotel.

    In the afternoon, we begin to explore the rich history in the inland waterways of the capital. Visit the Royal Palace, residence of the royal family of Cambodia, and the National Museum with its superb collection of Khmer art. At the end of the day, welcome dinner at a restaurant of charity where former children of street are taught the principle hospitality.

  • Breakfast at hotel
    Cyclo tour to the major attractions of Phnom Penh City; firstly, visit Wat Phnom which is a good example of Khmer architecture and statues. We continue along the river to the Royal Palace. Lunch not included
    In the afternoon, we learn more about the recent history of Cambodia, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, located in a former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as the main center fordetentionandtorture”S-21″. If you want, you can visit the Russian market later.
    In the late afternoon, we take a ride along the river in Phnom Penh and see how the local people live.

  • Breakfast at hotel
    Departure to Kampong Cham – a former port of town of French trade. Immerse in a rural landscape of Cambodia when we drive through the plantations of cashew, rice fields and traditional villages. Tours to the city center before visiting Wat Nokor, a Buddhist shrine of sand stone dating back to the 11th century. Spend the afternoon freely in the town of Kratie, enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Mekong sunset with a cold drink. Kratie is especially well known for its amazing sunsets. Overnight in Kratie.

    In the morning, we head to the northern of city, visiting the local market where they sell everything from fresh fruit and fleshes of tires of scooters and helmets. A tour in the country and then in the afternoon, boarding to learn more about the life of Irrawaddy dolphins – a species of fresh water dolphin endangered. We continue towards the village Sambo for a visit of the Pagoda Wat Sorsor Mouy Roy, lunch Sambo and then we visit the island Koh Trong to experience the way of life in a village typical Cambodian. Upon arrival on the island, if you want, also take a ride in carriage or take a bike ride around the island. Visit Wat Island where you can participate in a project of re-cultivation forests started by a local farmer. We continue with a visit to a Vietnamese floating village on the southern of the island. Return to Kratie by boat in the late afternoon. Overnight in Kratie.

    Departure to Kampong Thom, we pass through the lush grasslands – the home of local water fowl. Although there are almost 1000 steps, climb the Mountain Phnom San Tuk it offers the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. After admiring the breathtaking view from the small pagoda on top of mountain, we go down and continue the path to Kampong Thom. In the afternoon, spend time freely.

    This morning we visit to Sambor Prei Kuk, 30 km north of the city, is a closed complex of temples in the jungle which attracts very few tourists due to its remote location. However, do not miss a visit to this quinsy pre-Angkor lane. During the bike ride and walk through the ruins, you are impressed by the combination of architecture and nature; in fact its brick structures are perfectly integrated with the surrounding nature. We have the opportunity to visit and contribute to sustainable development of the local community. A simple but tasty lunch is served near the temples. We continue the journey to Siem Reap, at about 3:00PM. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is available. Overnight in Siem Reap


  • Get up early to admire the sunrise at Angkor Wat, then breakfast at the hotel. We continue to campaign around the Western Baray area, where you can observe the local daily life, then we transfer to the Silk Farm of Angkor (15 km from Siem Reap) to learn more about the production of silk and also the life cycle of silkworms. Return to Siem Reap for a noon rest. In the afternoon, visit to the Temple of Ta Prohm, built by the middle of the 12th century to the beginning of the next century. Overnight in Siem Reap.

    In the morning, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Angkor Thom, surrounded by a high wall of 8 meters, was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. We continue the tour to the Bayon Temple in the city center. This grand masterpiece of the twelfth century has the superb bas-reliefs on the walls of the outer galleries, in particular the eastern and western. In the afternoon we head to the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, Tonle Sap, where we have the opportunity to learn about the lifestyle on this river. A boat trip to the local village of Kampong Phluck. Along the way, we pass floating houses and impressive flooded forests. The rest of the day is at your disposal.
    (NOTE: Due to low water levels during the dry season, you can make the boat trip only from June to March. However, a visit to a floating village Chong Kneas alternative would be organized instead). Overnight in Siem Reap


  • After breakfast, transfer to Beng Mealea (one hour drive). We make a short walk through the jungle, discovering the wonders of the temple Beng Mealea, which were unknown forages. From here we proceed to the “gem” of the Angkor area, the beautiful temple of Banteay Srey, also called “Citadel of Women” – is one of the best examples of classical Khmer art. In the afternoon, we stopwatches local communities where they produce rice paper. We have the opportunity to taste a bit of palm wine and palm sugar-local products that play a role part of the flavor of Cambodia. Overnight in Siem Reap.

    Transfer from Siem Reap to Battambang in a joined boat (Note: from January to June, he moved on the road). During the cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake, do not miss the opportunity to explore the rich ecosystem and experience the rhythm of local life. In the afternoon, arrive in Battambang. Possessing the French colonial buildings which is the best preserved of the country, the second largest city in Cambodia was off limits (is forbidden to enter) for tourists.
    Check into the hotel, free time. Overnight in Battambang.


  • After breakfast, we proceed to Phnom Sampeau where the caves of the massacre and a small temple are; that is, the serenity and the inhumanity exist together in a single place. Continue your tour with a ride on a bamboo train (Note: the train tracks from Battambang to Phnom Penh are currently reconstructed. The long-term future of the bamboo train cannot be guaranteed. So, if this service is not available, we organize the other sightseeing options). Disembark for a visit to Wat Banan, a temple of ‘XI century on top of a mountain located between the lush rice fields and lotus ponds beautiful. From the top of the mountain, we have a good view of the beautiful countryside, we can also visit the ancient temple surrounded by trees flowered fragrant. In the afternoon, visit some cultural villages around Battambang where we can learn about the production of rice paper, prahoc (the Cambodian fermented fish sauce), grolan (glutinous rice roasted in bamboo joints) and other Cambodian specialties. An optional visit to the School of Music, Visual & Performing Phare Ponleu Selpak could be organized, otherwise you can also visit a weaving center handcrafts. Overnight in Battambang.


  • From Battambang to Kampong Chhnang – known for its traditional pottery. We proceed to Oudong, the former royal capital of Cambodia; take a ride on wagon pulled by oxen around the city. Then we climb to the summit of the mountain Oudong enjoy in magnificent views of the valley below while the guide explains the history of the land and its buildings as well as the religious culture of the Cambodians. In the afternoon, the road to Phnom Penh, let us pause to Koh Chen, an island in the Tonle Sap River, known as the “village of silver” because of its production of silver handicrafts. We reach Phnom Penh in mid-afternoon. For your last evening in Cambodia, an authentic Khmer farewell dinner is prepared for you.

  • Free time until transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight home.

Amendment and Cancellation Policy

● Within 24 hours before departure: Guests pay 100%
● From 24 – 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 50%
● Prior to 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 20%

Any surcharge/extra fees for visit of the Angkor Historical site imposed by the Apsara Authorities in Siem Reap which are subject to change without prior notice.
Children Policy

  • From 12 years old up: pay as an adult.
  • From 5 – 11 years old: Pay 75%
  • Under 5 years old: Free of charge. However, only one under-five free admission per booking. If you have more than two under-five, from the second kid pays 50% each.
