REP05: SIEM REAP ARTS AND HANDICRAFTS(Full Day)

Overview

Les Artisans d’Angkor is sponsored by the European program REPLIC and is also supported by the government of Cambodia. See the work of the trainees who learn the art of stone carving, wood ornamental sculpture, the making of small furniture, the art of lacquer and polychromic. Observe the various training methods and view completed projects.

After pick you up from hotel, we drive from Siem Reap to the district of Puok to the Silk Farm. Learn the different stages of the complex process of producing handmade silk, including the growing of the mulberry trees, silk worm breeding, and training in the ancient craft of silk dyeing and weaving. Return to Siem Reap.

Visit Stone and Woodcarving School of Siem Reap where copies of the ancient Khmer temple carvings are produced for the commercial market along with many other interesting pieces. Prices here tend to be cheaper than elsewhere in Siem Reap for carvings, so a trip here is well worth it, even if only for the lower prices you’ll get.

After that, we will return to your hotel. End of services!

Amendment and Cancellation Policy

● Within 24 hours before departure: Guests pay 100%
● From 24 – 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 50%
● Prior to 48 hours before departure: Guests pay 20%

● Children Policy

• From 12 years old up: pay as an adult.
• From 5 – 11 years old: Pay 75%
• Under 5 years old: Free of charge. However, only one under-five free admission per booking. If you have more than two under-five, from the second kid pays 50% each.
