The Mekong Delta, known as the “Nine Dragon River”, is where the mighty Mekong reaches the sea after flowing through six countries. In Viet Nam, it fans out into countless rivers and canals, nurturing a vibrant culture of farming, fishing, and river trade. This 2-day journey brings you close to the heart of Delta life—warm smiles, lush orchards, traditional crafts, and the unforgettable bustle of its floating markets. With a rustic homestay and hands-on cooking experience, this trip offers the perfect blend of discovery, relaxation, and connection.
Your guide and driver will pick you up for a 2-hour drive to Ben Tre, with a short stop along the way. On arrival, board a motorboat to cruise the canals and see life unfold on the river. Stop at a brick kiln, visit workshops making coconut candy and woven mats, and meet local families over tea and fruit. Drift along shady canals on a hand-rowed sampan before cycling or taking a motor cart through peaceful village roads.
[
Rise early for a motorboat trip to the Cai Rang Floating Market, where boats overflow with tropical fruits and vegetables. Continue cruising and walk through country lanes, visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and fruit gardens with papaya, mango, pineapple, and more.
Say goodbye to your host and head to Cai Be Village, where you’ll enjoy lunch and a cooking demonstration at a local family home. Afterwards, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the late afternoon. End of services.
HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
