Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a 1.5-hour drive through the countryside to the Cu Chi Tunnels. On arrival, you’ll watch a short introduction film, learn about the clever traps used in the jungle, and even crawl through part of the tunnel system to experience underground life during the war. You’ll also have the option to visit the shooting range (extra fee) before enjoying a simple wartime snack of boiled tapioca.
From here, we continue with a 1.5-hour drive to the Mekong Delta, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. In the Delta, board a motorboat to cruise the river and see the famous Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islands. Visit a traditional workshop to taste freshly made coconut candy. At a local family home, enjoy tea, seasonal fruits, and live folk music before gliding along leafy canals in a hand-rowed sampan. You’ll also ride through village lanes on a traditional Xe Loi (tuk-tuk-style transport).
After this full day of history, culture, and river life, relax on the 1.5-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel. End of services.
