While most visitors stay around the city center, the real rhythm of Sai Gon is found beyond its downtown streets. This tour is designed to bring you closer to daily life, with visits to Chinese and Vietnamese pagodas as well as some of the city’s most vibrant local markets.
We’ll pick you up at your hotel and head to Cho Lon – well known as Chinatown – the vibrant heart of Sai Gon’s Chinese community. Your visits will include, in no specific order:
• Ho Thi Ky Hidden Flower Market: Wander through colorful alleys filled with blossoms and local life in one of the city’s most charming hidden gems.
• FITO Museum: Discover the fascinating history of Vietnamese traditional medicine at this unique museum, showcasing over 3,000 artifacts in 18 beautifully curated rooms.
• Giac Lam Pagoda: Built in 1744, this is one of the oldest temples in Sai Gon, offering peaceful gardens and historic Buddha statues dating back to the 18th century.
• Thien Hau Temple: Dedicated to the sea goddess Mazu, this iconic temple features intricate porcelain figurines and a traditional curving roof, reflecting rich Chinese spiritual traditions.
• Binh Tay Market: One of Sai Gon’s largest and most beautiful markets, where colorful stalls, fresh produce, and a lively atmosphere capture the essence of local daily life.
We’ll end the excursion by transferring you back to your hotel. End of services.
