Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) is always one of the most prominent events in the summer in Vietnam. DIFF 2025 is the BIGGEST, LONGEST and MOST GRAPHIC fireworks festival with 6 nights of performances, gathering 10 excellent teams from Asia, Europe and America along with interesting sideline activities, promising to bring a more brilliant summer than ever in the coastal city of Danang.
1. Theme of DIFF 2025

The theme for DIFF 2025 is “Da Nang – A New Era”. This symbolic and forward-thinking theme highlights Da Nang’s rapid transformation and dynamic development. Expect awe-inspiring firework shows blending traditional culture with modern creative trends.
2. When Will It Take Place?
DIFF 2025 will be held every Saturday from May 31 to July 12 (excluding July 5), spanning 6 exciting weeks. It opens with a grand launch night, followed by competitive showcases and ends with a breathtaking finale on July 12.
3. Venue
The event takes place along the eastern bank of the Han River, especially on Tran Hung Dao Street. Fireworks will be launched from the eastern side, with main viewing stands located on the western bank—perfect for panoramic views.
4. Competing Teams
This year’s DIFF features 10 teams from 9 countries, representing Asia, Europe, and the Americas. For the first time, two Vietnamese teams will join: Da Nang and Z121. Other teams include Finland (the reigning champion), Poland, China, Canada, South Korea, Italy, Portugal, and the UK.

- June 7: “Creative Arts” – Vietnam 2 (Z121) vs. Poland
- June 14: “Connecting Journeys” – Canada vs. China

- June 28: “Technology Leads the Way” – South Korea vs. Italy
- July 12: “Welcome to a New Era” – Grand Finale between the top two teams
