PSG206 | Escape to Nam Cat Tien(2 Days 1 Night)

DAY 1: Sai Gon – Nam Cat Tien Park (Lunch & Dinner)

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a 3.5-hour drive to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Upon arrival, check into your jungle lodge and enjoy lunch before setting out on your first forest trek. Walking along a well-used trail opposite the lodge, you’ll pass towering trees like Lagerstroemia (Bang Lang) and the mighty Tetrameters, with palms, cycads, and orchids tucked beneath the canopy. Look up to see strangler vines and ferns, and keep your eyes peeled for colorful birds such as pittas and partridges.

In the late afternoon, hop on a bicycle ride to Elephant Hill, a journey that brings the forest to life as dusk approaches. As you cycle back in the dark, there’s a good chance of spotting wildlife along the way. Dinner is served at the lodge, followed by a restful night surrounded by the sounds of the jungle.

DAY 2: Nam Cat Tien Park – Sai Gon (Breakfast & Lunch)

Rise early for a sunrise walk through the Botanic Garden to Heaven Rapids, one of the best times to hear the forest awaken. With gibbons calling overhead and a wide variety of birds flitting through the trees, this morning walk is a magical way to experience the park’s wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then enjoy a couple of hours relaxing on the viewing platform, watching the river and listening to the forest symphony.

Before leaving, visit the Bear Rescue Centre, where you’ll see rehabilitated bears being cared for with the hope of returning them to the wild. Around midday, take the ferry back across the river and begin the drive to Ho Chi Minh City. A packed lunch will be provided for your journey. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer back to your hotel. End of services.
