PSG204 | Escape to Vung Tau(2 Days 1 Night)

DAY 1: Sai Gon – Vung Tau (Lunch)

Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Bach Dang Pier, where you board a hydrofoil for a scenic ride down the Sai Gon River to Vung Tau.

Upon arrival, begin your exploration at Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda, a peaceful hillside park filled with monumental Buddhist statues, a must-see for local pilgrims. Continue to the historic lighthouse, the oldest in Southeast Asia, and climb to the top for sweeping 360° views across the peninsula and the sea.

Next, make your way up the hill to the Giant Jesus Statue, a 32-meter-high landmark that dominates the skyline and offers spectacular views after a scenic walk. You’ll also visit the elegant White Villa, a French-era mansion that once served as a residence for governors, Vietnamese royalty, and later as a presidential retreat.

After a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon relaxing on Vung Tau’s golden beach. The evening is free at your leisure. Overnight in Vung Tau.

DAY 2: Vung Tau – Sai Gon (Breakfast & Lunch)

After breakfast, enjoy some free time at leisure before checking out of your hotel. The morning continues with visits to Thang Tam Temple and the Whale Tomb, where centuries-old whale skeletons are preserved and honored, reflecting the traditions and beliefs of local fishermen. Afterwards, stop at Linh Son Co Tu, the oldest pagoda in Vung Tau, where the tranquil atmosphere provides a moment of peace.

We then begin the drive back to Sai Gon, stopping along the way for lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel. End of services.
