This journey combines the charm of the Mekong Delta with the tropical beauty of Phu Quoc Island. Spend a day exploring the Delta’s canals, cottage industries, tropical fruit gardens, and vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market before continuing to the coast. From rustic homestay hospitality to the turquoise waters of Phu Quoc, this tour blends authentic culture with a perfect island escape.
Your guide and driver will pick you up for a 2-hour drive to a local village in Ben Tre, with a short stop for refreshments along the way.
Upon arrival, board a motorboat and cruise the peaceful canals of the Mekong River. Visit cottage industries where locals make coconut candy, rice paper, and pop-rice, and even try a taste of snake wine if you wish. Continue to a tropical fruit garden to sample fresh fruit, enjoy traditional folk music, and glide through shaded canals on a hand-rowed sampan.
Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant with a 5-course Vietnamese meal, before heading to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. Here you’ll check into a rustic homestay, relax in the quiet countryside, then join your host for a cooking class and a home-cooked dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.

Start the day early with breakfast before boarding a motorboat to the Cai Rang Floating Market, the largest in the Delta. Watch colorful boats piled high with fruits and vegetables as trade unfolds on the river. Continue cruising, then walk along quiet country roads, visit a lively flea market, a noodle workshop, and tropical fruit gardens with papaya, mango, and pineapple.
Afterwards, drive about 3 hours to Rach Gia Port, where you’ll take a ferry to Phu Quoc Island, arriving around 3:00 p.m. to begin your island adventure. End of services.
