The Mekong River is one of the world’s most captivating waterways, flowing through lush orchards, villages, and canals before widening on its way to Cambodia. Spend a day immersed in the charm of the Delta, then embark on a stunning speedboat journey upstream to Phnom Penh—an unforgettable way to experience the river’s beauty and culture across two nations.
Your guide and driver will pick you up for the 2.5-hour drive to Cai Be, with a short stop along the way. Begin with a walk through a lively local market, then board a motorboat to explore the Delta’s maze of canals. Stop at a house-boat to enjoy fresh fruit and observe river trade, before visiting cottage industries where coconut candy, rice paper, and pop-rice are made.
Cross to Tan Phong Island to visit a tropical fruit garden, listen to folk music, and glide through shady canals on a hand-rowed sampan. Lunch is hosted at a local family home, where your host will demonstrate how to prepare a Vietnamese dish before serving a delicious home-style meal. Afterwards, relax or cycle through the countryside for a taste of village life.
In the afternoon, drive to Chau Doc for hotel check-in and a free evening. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Rise early for a motorboat trip to the Cai Rang Floating Market, where boats overflow with tropical fruits and vegetables. Continue cruising and walk through country lanes, visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and fruit gardens with papaya, mango, pineapple, and more.
After breakfast and check-out, a Xe Loi (local tuk-tuk) will transfer you to the pier. Board a speedboat for a 5-hour journey upstream the Mekong River, passing beautiful riverside landscapes along the way. At the Viet Nam–Cambodia border, our team will assist with visa procedures (visa fee of approx. USD 35/person to be paid directly).
Arrive at the Phnom Penh pier around 1:00 p.m., conveniently located in the city center for easy connections by taxi or tuk tuk. End of services.
